A squad of twenty players will be selected for the Myanmar Women's Football Team after a qualifier match on December 4th, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.
The final selection will participate for the South East Asian Games. 23 athletes are currently training after hosting the ASEAN Women Football Championship last September and playing qualifier matches in Mandalay.
The team also took part in a two-week training in Taunggyi Township, Southern Shan State, before the SEA Games. Kumada Yoshinori, a Japanese coach, was appointed to train the team.
The Myanmar Women's Football team is building its strengths after winning the Women Championship qualifier match in 2013, although they have never won any previous SEA Games tournament.
