Indonesian wushu team grabbed three gold medals in Islamic Solidarity Games at Saturday (28/9).
Lindswell, Fredy, and Juwita Niza were the gold medalists who each competed in women’s taiji quan, men’s taiji quan, and women non quan categories.
In the final round, Lindswell achieved a highest score of 9.69 and followed by Malaysia’s Chan Lu Yi 9.54 and Iran’s Hamideh Bahrkor 9.30 who secured the second and third place.
“Today, all gold medals are grabbed by the host athletes”, said Deputy Chief on the Game’s Executive Committee Ahmad Yan. The day before, Fredy had also achieved the highest score of 9.61 in men’s taiji quan category. The highest score were assessed for the beauty, difficulty, movement mastery and the movement synchronization.
